Best Test Series for JEE Mains 2027: Real Prices

Best Test Series for JEE Mains 2027: Real Prices, Honestly Compared

By JEENEETard August 2026 13 min read

Looking for the best test series for JEE Mains 2027? Most lists you find are paid for. The ranking changes based on who sponsored the page. This one is different. We opened each company's own website, wrote down the real price, and said so clearly when we could not find one. Nobody paid us anything.

We looked at four. MathonGo Quizrr, Allen DLP, Physics Wallah Real Test Pass and Competishun JEE Mates. Their prices are very different. So are the students they suit. That is why this post does not crown one winner. The best test series for JEE Mains 2027 is simply the one that fixes your gap.

Cheapest serious option
Competishun
JEE Mates. 50 online mocks for ₹1,499 when we checked Online. Offline Price Varies
Deepest test analysis
MathonGo
Quizrr. A 15 page report after every test. Around ₹6,000.
Centre based CBT
Allen and PW
Both run real computer tests at centres, not just from your bedroom.
Check the price yourself before you pay. Every figure below was on the official page in August 2026. These platforms run discounts all the time. Plans get renamed. A price that is right today can be wrong next month. Treat these as a rough level, not a quote.

How we picked the best test series for JEE Mains 2027

Worth saying up front. Anyone can call their product the best. Here is how we actually decided.

1
Only official pages were used. No review blogs. No YouTube claims. No counsellor on the phone. If the company does not print it, we do not either.
2
Nothing is made up. If a company does not show a price, we say so. We do not pass a guess off as official. That happened once, and it is clearly marked.
3
No affiliate links. No paid slots. The order below is not a ranking. It is just the order that reads most easily.
4
Nobody gets blamed. Each one is good at something different. So we just describe what each is built for. You match it to your own situation.

Prices are inclusive of GST where the official page stated it, and were listed in August 2026. The MathonGo range is what is quoted on enquiry rather than a figure printed on their site, so treat it as approximate. PW prices vary by whether you are in Class 11, Class 12 or a dropper. Allen names its packages by how many years are left to your target, so check the target year before you buy.

MathonGo Quizrr

About ₹6,000 to ₹8,000
Best for

Students who take plenty of tests but never learn much from them.

  • 12 part syllabus tests and 30 full syllabus tests for JEE Main 2027
  • Chapter tests and previous year papers offered as mocks
  • A 15 page analysis report after every test
  • Interface built to match the real NTA screen
  • Mistake tracking across tests, plus a predicted percentile
  • A combined Main and Advanced plan exists with 22 part and 40 full tests

Is the long report worth it?

The 15 page report is the thing to notice here. Most students take a mock, glance at the score, feel bad, and move on. A long report forces the second step. So the answer depends on you. Do you already analyse your tests? If yes, you may not need it.

A test you do not analyse is just an expensive way to feel bad for an afternoon. The report is not a luxury feature. For most students it is the only part that changes anything.

Never built that habit? We wrote a full method for it in how to improve marks in your JEE test series. It works with any of the four options here.

Allen DLP test series

Best for

Students who want to know where they stand in a very large group.

  • 9 computer based tests taken at Allen DLP centres, listed across 250 plus cities
  • Over 100 additional mock tests through the Allen app
  • All India ranking among Allen students nationally
  • Access to a question bank listed at over 51,000 questions
  • Papers set by Kota faculty, and missed tests can be reattempted online

Why people pay for it

Benchmarking is the honest reason to pick Allen. A percentile only means as much as the group behind it. When a huge number of serious aspirants write the same paper, your rank actually tells you something. A small group cannot do that.

The trade is structure. This is a package with dates, centres and a fixed calendar. Some students need exactly that. Others find it inconvenient. They end up skipping tests they paid for.

Physics Wallah Real Test Pass

₹4,999 to ₹5,499
Best for

Students who want centre based CBT practice at a lower price.

  • Class 11: 8 centre CBTs plus 10 online NTA style tests, listed at ₹4,999
  • Class 12 and droppers: 10 centre CBTs plus 11 online tests, listed at ₹5,499
  • Offline CBT tests run at PW centres
  • Includes the Abhyas Master Series and the Kattar JEE Series
What to know. The plan depends on your class. So a price you see quoted online may not be the one you pay.
JEE Real Test Pass Pro 2027
₹6,999 to ₹7,999
Best for

Students who want the maximum number of real centre tests in one purchase.

  • Class 11: 18 computer based tests, listed at ₹6,999
  • Class 12 and droppers: 21 computer based tests, listed at ₹7,999
  • Everything in the standard plan for your class
  • Adds a Rankers Kit with printed material delivered to your home

Does a centre test really matter?

Writing a paper at a centre matters more than students expect. A mock at home is not the same exam. Your own chair. Your own water bottle. The freedom to pause whenever you like. Exam nerves are a skill, and you cannot practise them from your bedroom.

Competishun JEE Mates

Best for

Students on a tight budget, or anyone who wants lots of extra papers.

  • 50 full length online mock tests
  • Listed at ₹1,499, shown as half of a ₹2,999 price
  • Part syllabus tests early, full length papers in the later phases
  • All India rank after every mock, plus video solutions
  • Subject wise tracking, weak chapter mapping and time per question data
  • NTA style interface, with access listed as valid till 30 April 2027

Is 50 mocks too many?

Fifty mocks at that price is the standout number here. The obvious question is whether the papers are any good. Nobody can answer that from a webpage. So take one test first. Do the questions feel like the real paper? If yes, plan your calendar around it.

Which one is best for you?

Instead of a winner, match yourself. Find your situation in the three cards below. The choice usually becomes obvious. This is the part a sponsored page can never do for you.

If money is the constraint
Start with the cheapest option that gives you volume

If you cannot spend more than ₹2,000, you are not choosing between good and better. You are choosing between practising and not practising. Fifty cheap mocks beat no mocks at all.

If you are already in coaching
You may not need a second full series at all

Most batches already include a test series. Buying a second one usually means you analyse fewer papers, not more. Check what you have before you spend again.

If you are self studying
Buy the one with a real ranking pool and centre tests

Without coaching you have no outside reference point. That is exactly the gap a big national series fills, and it is worth paying more for.

Pay more when

  • You are self studying and have no benchmark at all
  • You freeze in real exam halls and need centre practice
  • You take tests but never analyse them, so the report is what you are buying
  • You are in your final year and every mock counts

Spend less when

  • Your coaching already runs a full test series
  • You are in Class 11 and still building the syllabus
  • You have skipped tests you already paid for
  • Money is tight, because practice matters more than the logo on it

What matters more than the series you pick

Here is the uncomfortable part. Even the best one will not lift your score on its own. The brand you pick is not the main thing. How you use it is.

What actually decides your test series result

A rough guide for a student choosing between these four, not a survey result

Analysing every paper
92
Sitting tests regularly
88
Size of the ranking pool
74
Familiarity with the NTA screen
66
Which brand you bought
38

Notice which bar sits lowest. The name on the receipt moves your score the least. A sponsored page will never tell you that.

The four things that decide your result

What mattersWhy it decides your score
Analysis timeThe marks come from the two hours after the test, not the three during it. Skip that, and a costlier series changes nothing.
Test frequencyOne paper a week from October onwards beats twenty papers crammed into December. Steady beats heavy.
Ranking pool sizeA percentile from 500 students tells you almost nothing. The bigger the pool, the more your rank means.
Interface realismYou want to be bored of the NTA screen by exam day. Familiarity with the tool is free marks.

All four of these are within your control. None of them require the most expensive package.

Want the calendar side in more detail? We have a longer guide to the best test series for JEE Main for Class 12 and droppers. It goes deeper on planning the year.

Practising with real past papers sits alongside this and costs nothing. Not planned that side yet? Our guide on how many years of PYQs to solve for JEE Main covers the order to do them in.

Before and after you buy: a quick checklist

Keep this simple. Run through it with the buying page open in front of you.

Before you buy

  • Check what your coaching already includes.
  • Check today's price on the official page, not on a blog.
  • Read the label for your class or target year.
  • Decide whether you need centre tests or only online.
  • Ask yourself if you can sit a paper every week from now.

After you buy

  • Put every test date in your calendar the same day.
  • Block two hours after each paper for analysis.
  • Redo wrong questions before opening the solution.
  • Keep one error log across all papers.
  • Finish each review with a list of chapters to revise.

Mistakes students make when buying

  1. Buying in June, starting in November. You paid for a calendar and ignored five months of it. Buy when you are ready to write papers weekly.
  2. Buying two at once. Twice the tests usually means half the analysis on each. One series used well beats two used badly.
  3. Choosing on price alone. The cheapest is not automatically worse. The costliest is not automatically better. Match the format to your gap.
  4. Ignoring the class on the plan. Almost every series here charges differently for Class 11, Class 12 and droppers. Read the label before you pay.
  5. Thinking the score is the result. The real result is a list of chapters to fix. Finish a review without that list and the test was wasted.
One more honest note. None of these companies paid for a place here, and there are no affiliate links. If anything above stops matching the official site, trust the official site, not us.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best test series for JEE Mains 2027?

There is no single best test series for JEE Mains 2027, because these four differ in format, not in quality. Competishun JEE Mates is the cheapest at ₹1,499 for 50 online mocks. Allen and Physics Wallah both run centre based computer tests, which helps if you want real exam hall practice. MathonGo Quizrr is built around a 15 page analysis report. So pick by what you are missing, not by which name is biggest.

How much does a JEE test series cost?

In August 2026 prices ran from about ₹1,499 up to ₹13,000 for a two year Allen DLP package. Physics Wallah listed ₹4,999 to ₹7,999, depending on class and plan. Allen's JEE Main Leader DLP computer based series was ₹4,100. MathonGo shows no price on its site and quotes roughly ₹6,000 to ₹8,000 on enquiry. Prices change often, so always check before paying.

Is an online test series enough, or do I need centre based tests?

Online is enough for building speed and covering syllabus. Centre tests do something different. They train you to sit in a strange room, on someone else's computer, for three hours, without pausing. Do you score lower on the real day than in your mocks? Then that gap is worth paying to close.

Do I need a test series if my coaching already gives one?

Usually not. Most batches already include a full test series. Adding a second one tends to make you analyse each paper less carefully, not more. The exception is when your coaching tests are rare, or the ranking group is tiny. Then a national series gives you a benchmark your coaching cannot.

How many mock tests should I take before JEE Main?

Roughly one full length paper a week from the start of your final year. Move to two a week in the last two months. That puts most students between 25 and 40 papers. The number matters far less than whether you analyse each one properly.

Is a cheap test series worse than an expensive one?

Not automatically. Price mostly reflects what is bundled: centre access, printed books, the size of the ranking group. It does not always reflect question quality. A student who analyses 50 cheap mocks properly will beat one who skims 20 expensive ones.

When should I start a JEE test series for 2027?

Start part syllabus tests once you have finished a few chapters properly. Start full length papers when most of the syllabus is covered. Buying early and starting late is how students waste this money. So buy it when you are ready to write papers every week.

Does this comparison have any sponsorships or affiliate links?

No. Nobody paid for placement. There are no affiliate links. The order the four appear in is not a ranking. Every detail came from the company's own page in August 2026. Where a company does not publish a price, we say so instead of passing a number off as official.

Final word

You are not choosing between a good series and a bad one. You are choosing a format, then doing the work. So pick the one that fills your real gap. That might be a benchmark, a centre seat, a long report, or just volume you can afford. Then protect the two hours after each paper. That is where the marks are.

If your coaching already runs a full series, you may not need any of these. That is a perfectly good answer, and no sponsored post will ever give it to you. When you are ready to make each paper count, read our guide on how to improve marks in your JEE test series next.
